Communication skills and Personality development
Definition-Communication skills are the abilities that help a person share information, ideas, feelings and thoughts clearly and effectively with others. These skills include not only what you say, but also how you say it (tone, body language, and clarity).
In simple words: Communication skills mean expressing yourself in a way that others understand you easily, and also being able to listen and understand others well.
Types of Communication Skills:
1. Verbal communication – Using spoken words (e.g., talking, presentations, discussions).
2. Non-verbal communication – Body language, gestures, facial expressions, eye contact.
3. Written communication – Writing emails, letters, reports, or messages.
4. Listening skills – Paying attention, understanding, and responding appropriately.
Importance of Communication Skills:
